the bookfeast: random readings by indie authors
a bookfeast is a service dedicated to the love of publishing and books that seeks to remove barriers and encourage independence and respect.
digital publishing's bookfeast consists of carefully curated readings from indie authors (and indie publishers). during the bookfeast, congregants will receive a custom-published book, decorated with black and gold mardis gras beads, and a warm glow will fill the library as the readings progress.
this first annual (?) bookfeast promises to nourish our shelves, and otherwise inspire. at minimum, the bookfeast will transport us into sacred library stacks, and add simplicity to our often complicated publishing lives. either way, the bookfeast can be captured in a single word – love. and books. and fun.
